Review:
A very good idea for a bootleg, which works well, but could have been slightly improved if it didn't have three versions of "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head" on it. Still, it's really nice just to be able to put on an album of acoustic Manics tracks, since all of them are excellent. 'R.P.McMurphy' live in Japan is very good, and tagged on the end of it is James' introductions to the band, of which Richey's goes "Is it man or beast..,.. 'fuck me and leave' it says on the T-shirt and it's true.... Mr Richard Edwards!!". The bootleg ends with a sublime acoustic rendition of "A Design For Life" from James, his voice almost tearing as he reaches the high notes of the chorus.
